Well that was fast ! Already a teaser trailer for Spectre, and not just one with a logo. Looks intriguing. There are shots in there that show that Mendes is still at work here.

Re: Trailer : Spectre
I'm seeing this mainly for the fact this is Monica Bellucci's comeback. Maybe Hollywood will finally start giving her decent roles (instead of just vamps and hookers).

Bellucci never really tried to go Hollywood, and she hasn't really stopped working those last few years, only just in France and Italy as always.

Re: Trailer : Spectre
I don't know, there was that stretch where she was in two Matrix movies and The Passion of the Christ. Then Shoot 'em Up happened and she kind of disappeared. I don't think she's been on US screens since The Sorcerer's Apprentice (similar to how Audrey Tautou kind of disappeared on American cinemas after The Da Vinci Code).
But yeah, Hollywood just didn't know what to do with her (or European actresses, for that matter).

Re: Trailer : Spectre
This pretty much confirms my worst fears for this movie. They're retconning James Bond's origin story and throwing away a vast portion of 007's legacy by having Blofeld be responsible for the death of Bond's parents. So instead of a return to the fun Bond movies of the past, as teased in the final sequence of Skyfall, I'll have to sit through two more hours of emo-Bond's clichéd, comic book, abandonment issues. Unless I skip this one, which is a definite possibility.

sigh, was hoping for another skyfall or even casino royale, but this trailer reminds me of the utterly forgettable and boring quantum of solace.

Is JE taken Busc's mantle on shitting on movies months before they open?JohnErle wrote:This pretty much confirms my worst fears for this movie. Looks good to me, I'm not crazy about Christoph Waltz - the villian roles seem beneath him at this point.

Only when they truly deserve it. Or when a trailer is released on a morning where I've had less than three hours of sleep.BanksIsDaFuture wrote:Is JE taken Busc's mantle on shitting on movies months before they open?JohnErle wrote:This pretty much confirms my worst fears for this movie.
