Trust (1991) - character drops out of high school in the beginning
Degrassi High (1989-1992) - TV show
Over The Edge (1979) - takes place outside of school
Halloween (1978) - high school isn't the main focus

It's a work-in-progress. I've been constantly editing it.

Also, I wouldn't count American Graffiti. None of it takes place in a high school.

No Footloose? Come one, the warehouse dance scene should get it placed on this list alone! Or the tractor chicken scene...riveting stuff.
