Joel Schumacher has passed away at 80. His career was hit or miss but he did leave behind some movies that we'll never forget.

Comedy icon Carl Reiner has passed away at the age of 98.

Some may argue, but I think his role in Ocean's Eleven stood out over most of the other, much bigger stars. I'll always remember him for that.

Dude created the Dick Van Dyke Show, directed The Jerk, and was Carl Reineroceros. Awards included 9 Emmys, 1 Tony, and the third ever Mark Twain Prize.

I've been informed I should check out him with Mel Brooks on their episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. I'll probably do that soon.

Ennio Morricone's gone, at 91, what a loss for cinema and for music.

What a legend. You could pick his 10 best scores and they would rank amongst the best.

I heard about de Havilland yesterday. She probably was the oldest remaining actress of the Hollywood golden era. She was living in Paris ever since the 60's I think, but I don't think I ever came across her.

Just saw this. First thought was “What the fuck?” Then “He’s 43?” Then “Four years? How do you hide that?” He’s been working steady through this whole thing? Tragic as Hell.

So very tragic. He was a great actor with so much potential. He would have won awards eventually. I'll always remember him as James Brown in Get on Up.
