So, you may have heard, that Joaquin Phoenix isn't really an aspiring rapper, and that whole stint was just for show....phew! He had me goin....

It was obvious that it was fake the minute the trailer was released. A lot of the scenes felt scripted.

Did anyone really believe he'd gone all nut job? I kinda thought it'd be a hoax from the outset and was just waiting for him to reveal himself. It was a little amusing, but not extraordinary really.

I dunno if he's a favorite actor ever, but I certainly agree with the sentiment. He took things to a whole new level, it was very borat/bruno-esqe but exponentially better... I'm dying to see this movie.

They made a mistake to reveal it was a hoax on the day of expansion. The second week was a wash with less than $1,000 PTA.
