It didn't make my Top 100 because I eventually watched the full-length TV mini-series version, and it's much better. So I prefer to think of it as a great show rather than a good film. You should check it out.

Interesting. Perhaps now's not the time as it'll pop up in many Top 100's, but what do you mean by this?

To all participants. I know asking you guys to do actual RESEARCH is a bit ballsy on my part, but just like with the music countdown, I would really like to keep things uniform. Therefore, if you possibly can manage it, please send your lists to me exactly like this:

(Here's a spoiler for my first pick)

110. Air Force One (1997) – Director: Wolfgang Petersen; starring Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Glenn Close. (What follows is my personal comment.) Yeah, I know, it’s pretty rote as far as action movies go, but what other movie can you think of where the President himself kicked as much ass as in this one? Oldman was in his element, the supporting cast was terrific, and it had a terrific tagline: “Get off my plane!”

If any of you want to include a YouTube link to the film's trailer or a clip from the film you may do so, but I'll probably post it as a link rather than as an embedded video just to save room.

Here's some that fell off my list from the last time I did it. There were a lot of new editions:

X-men
Team America: World Police
Se7en
Borat
Superbad
The Poseiden Adventure
The Bourne Ultimatum
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
Lucky Number Slevin

And my brother might be in on this too. He's compiling films as we speak.

Okay. By what screen name should we call him? "Geezbro" doesn't sound that good...

Dam, forgot about Home Alone, but that would have just missed anyways. Where and what is macaulay culkin doing these days anyway?

And six, about aliens, i really enjoyed the first one, and probably the first half of the second one almost just as much. But then i think James Cameron screws things up by making shit ultra violent by killing half of the super crew and disrupting the tone of the first half where the build up and suspense was great. And ripley meets that little kid which was a crappy subplot anyway because she just (spoiler for the un-informed) dies at the start of the 3rd. Though some of the bits are cool like the loading robot (which he used again in Avatar) and Lance Henrikson's character. Whenever i rant, i cant help but feel i should watch the film again to point out more but yeah rant complete.

So we start this thing tomorrow huh? Cant wait. But as ive said to shryke, i might not be able to include everthing about the films until i do a little imdb research, but seeing as im in the middle of nowhere and the internet is painfully slow, i might just forward my apologies for now.
