Too High on the List:

Robin Hood
Shutter Island
The A-Team
The Expendables

Too Low on the List:

Tron Legacy
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Shrek Forever After
Clash of the Titans

By the time you get down to the 50th best movie of the year, you're at, what, $50 million? $40 million? Tough to gauge mediocrity like that.

Really, Nanny McPhee 2? Did anybody really need that movie to happen?

I thought Unstoppable was cancelled....?

That Top 10 looks so damn good, there's no way at least one of those movies won't disappoint. Between a new Harry Potter, Iron Man 2, Inception (the secrecy is killing me!), The Expendables, Kick-Ass!, Eclipse (my least fav book though), Jonah Hex, Toy Story 3 (finally!), Salt (Angelina has yet to disappoint in a straight action film), Grown-Ups (Rock, Sandler, James are three very funny people (heh)), Date Night (could there be a better combo than Michael Scott and Liz Lemon?), and Oobermind (the third RDJ movie of 2010!, I can't fucking wait for next year.

I could do without another needless Shrek movie, or Sex & The City 2, or even The A-Team (I cannot get over the obvious mis-casting of Mr. T's role. Fucking Rampage? Terry Crews would've been perfect.)

I doubt we'll see Red Sonja anytime soon.

Unstoppable went back on the track after $20 million was shaved from the budget. The original budget was $110 million but it was cut down to $90 million by having Washington and Scott take pay cuts.

Meanwhile if the box office results of Jennifer's Body proved anything, they proved that Megan Fox cannot sell a movie. And since Warner Bros. is trying to sell Jonah Hex as a teen-oriented film with her instead of an adult-oriented ensemble macho western, it will end up being a big disappointment for the studio.

You do realize Megan Fox has a relatively small role in Jonah Hex, right?

Just like the Transformers movies, nobody will see it just for her - it'll just be an added bonus.

But why is it that the teaser poster has her featured so prominently (she is given above-title billing and appears with Josh Brolin)?

I agree with Geez on that one. What is Inception? I can't recall it. And when the fuck did Nanny McPhee even come out? Don't remember that at all...

This list is decently accurate but i can assure that Legion will not be that high in grosses and that Eclispe will easily outgross The A-Team and a couple others that are in front of it.

I don't want to know shit about this movie until I watch it. I will just trust in Nolan. WWND? Make a perfect movie!

I said that, but if you click on the article, it says "Most likely to dominate the box office."

Somehow I passed over Narnia and Eclipse.... So I fixed it. Also, you do know how well the "Meet the _____" series does, right?
