Hey everyone, just want to gauge interest in a new list. As you know I'm a big fan of them, and I've been feeling lately something is definitely missing in my life.

I'm thining these as possible countdowns:

100/150 best/favorite actors/actresses of all time

50 best/favorite directors of all time

Any other ideas?

What do you think of another countdown??

10 most overrated movies. Whiplash would be a strong contender.

I'd be up for a new countdown Ron, definitely.
Actors/Actresses or directors are both good options.

Agreed. That being said, I'm pretty much down to do any countdown that you gents propose.

I vote for a Favourite Directors countdown, and I also vote for giving everyone enough time to prepare. At least two weeks, I'd say.

Another option for the future would be Favourite Bands/Artists since the last one we did was movie related and it's been a long time since the album countdown.

Well i asked about a worst movie list a while ago and Boosh shot it down, saying we tried somethingm like that before?

So i propose, a worst movie OR list or most overated movie list BEFORE christmas. Maybe 10 or 25, whatever we vote on.

And AFTER christmas, perhaps the first/second day of the new year again, we can do a actors/actresses list? Im not sure about how many though. I feel like 100 is a little too low to include everyone. That said, what is more apt; a BEST list or FAVOURITE list?

And maybe do music and/or directors in the near future, not quite sure about music but ill do it if everyone is keen. But im pretty happy with doing 1 major list a year.

But ofc, id like to see what anyone else has to offer, and i think we can vote on theme/number when all the dust has settled. Also, waiting on Shryke to see if he is keen. If need be i can DJ this time round, assuming no one else wants to take that up

That wasn't a collective effort, that was simply RobDude spewing out a poorly-conceived, lie-filled collection of takes on movies that are universally regarded as the worst movies of all-time. If the regulars here participated, the countdown would be exactly like the other ones we've had here over the years.

He put Memento on his list because Shryke didn't like it and tried to claim Guy Pearce has never made a good movie.

I don't want to see it tried again but he'll come back and try to pull the same crap again.

Who are we talking about? I certainly never said Guy Pearce has never made good movie. I loved LA Confidential, and I liked The Time Machine more than most people did.

I was talking about the site's Voldemort. I'm sorry if I implied that you didn't like Guy Pearce, Shryke.

I wouldn't worry about a troll going off and doing something we all ignore. It's more about which we're most excited about.

Ok, so how about starting a 25 MOST OVERRATED MOVIES list on November 1, 2017?

So far we have these people interested: Ron B, Six, Boosh, Chien, Tranny, Johnelre?

Sounds like a we have enough interest to go ahead and do a X FAVOURITE ACTORS/ACTRESSES list, i figure best starting date for that is January 2, 2018. Still not sure how many to do. I dont think 100 is enough, and feel like 300 could be too many. What do you all think for magic number?

Would be great if we had some more numbers, Banks, surfer, spectre, UDM, leestu, Walleye, Geezer, Shryke, W? Or anyone else i forget, you are all welcome to join...

I'm up for all that, but I'll never have time to come up with any list in time for November 1st to be honest. I'm in full preparation mode for my Film Festival, and it runs Oct 24 - 31.
So if you wouldn't mind starting a bit later, like Nov 10 or Nov 15, it would be better for me.
