I KNEW you'd be the one to include a 4+ hour film in your list!

Interesting proposition, but no it's not Love Exposure, Boosch, although there will be one Sono Sion film in my Top.

I've got my 100 pretty much worked out. Just threw down my Top 5 from every year plus a few extras, then reworked the last few because some films in my top 10 of the last few years trumped some films in my Top 5 at the start of the millennium.

Choosing 85 was easy, but I have a hard time deciding on the last ones. Gotta make choices !!!

I should probably start working on this. Worked out a rough list of contenders last week, but I haven't ordered any of them outside of the top 10.

I've got a very rough list of 100+ films I rated 8 or higher on IMDB, but apart from ranking my top 5 I still have a lot of re-arranging to do. This is the sort of thing I would normally do during my downtime at work, but there hasn't been much of that lately.

Didn't know this was happening. I'd like to jump in at 50 if that's OK.

Over/Under on how many time The Dark Knight will appear in the Top 10's?

Banks u know the saying - the more the merrier!! Be awesome to have u join in at 50.

Personally ive been playing way too many video games and binge watching stuff to even get this top 100 started, theres imdb, but i dont think i have been updating that in the last 2-3 years. So ill prob look to BOM to get a list happnin.

The Dark Knight is one of my favs, though im slightly biased for 2 reasons: Heath Ledger was Aussie and I won my glorious gold medallion from the fantalympics from that movie- i remember it cost $61 in ultimate, twas a no brainer. But then again, in those days we had wide releases at $2 like Journey to center of the Earth or The Strangers....

I actually remember trying to build a slate that didn't have The Dark Knight, just to see if I could beat it with T5 and PTA points. Think that meant picking Hancock. Boy, was that a mistake.

Reminder to everyone -

Those of you who are doing a Top 100... make sure to get at least the first 10-20 films (starting with #100) to my by 12/31.

Do it in this format:

#100. MOVIE TITLE (year of release) - Your opinions.

You may also include the poster, a still photo, or the trailer or segment of the film from YouTube if you like.

Even though I helped suggest the 2000-present idea, I might have to sit this one out. I'm currently researching for my next screenplay (and I just finished a first draft for another less than two weeks ago) and that has taken much of my time. In addition, I've had to keep an eye on a dying cat. As a result, I haven't have much time or will power to do such a list. I apologize.

Man, I forgot how excruciating it is to try and rank this many terrific movies. There are so many films that feel like they deserve to be in my top 10, but there's just not enough room for all of them. And the gap in quality between my number 10 and number 30 is negligible, but it looks like such an unfairly wide chasm when I list them like that.
