Just a reminder to the remaining few still to post but the deadline for their Master List submissions is the end of the weekend. So if the following could get their picks to me by then it'd be appreciated:

Note for American voters: Showtime is having a free preview from Saturday (the 16th) to Monday (the 18th) to promote the Paul Giamatti/Damian Lewis series Billions. Why am I bringing this up? Listen to Me, Marlon will be shown a few times during this free preview. So set your DVR's or whatever you got (VCR, maybe?) to watch it for the voting preparations.

A question: would Mad Max: Fury Road qualify as an original or an adapted screenplay? Though not based on a previous medium, it does feature characters from a previous film (which how the Academy determined that Before Midnight was an adapted screenplay two years ago).

Personally I see it as an original screenplay, as otherwise every sequel would be an adapted screenplay. I don't we've ever really wanted to conform to the academies rules too much. But honestly, it doesn't matter, I usually just place whatever has been nominated into the category it has been nominated into most.

Once again may I thank the committee members for their for submissions, the Master List is now complete. As previously stated, this is primarily a guide for what to check out when considering placing your nominations over the next couple of months, but by no means though do your nominations have to be limited to this list.

The nomination process is now open, and so if all members of the committee (and anyone who still wants to be a part of the process - just let me know) could please send their nominations to me by 28th February, we can then proceed to the final voting. This gives you a good while to catch up on all movies you had planned to see prior to nominations, as well as using the Master List for any gems you may have missed.

I have placed the Master List on the first page as well as here for your information. Happy viewing!

33 seen so far, and out of that list I aim to see another 8 over the next few weeks. The most frustrating one is Son of Saul, which I really want to see but it's not out here until April.
