Simple game, where you must choose one, and one only. I'll try post daily.

Definitely Aronofsky. Even when he fails he's still interesting. I can't find excuses for the banality of Benjamin Button, and Social Network was totally over-rated.

This is a mean game. I like it.

David Fincher. Both of them have only made 1 film that I disliked, but The Fountain is much worse than Panic Room.

Aronofsky. Fincher is basically an Oscar whore now while Aronofsky still makes the films he wants to make.

Aronofsky. Only because The Game is extremely weak, and the trifecta of Requiem/The Wrestler/Black Swan is tough to beat.

Though I like almost everything Fincher does, I have to go with Aronofsky. His artistic/symbolic design is present in everything he does. Requiem is one of the most artistic and hard hitting films I've ever seen. And, Black Swan is incredible.

Also, Aronofsky knows there are more than two colors.

What? Black, and very, very dark grey?

Tough choice, but for Black Swan and Requiem/ Seven and Fight Club, it's probably Aronofsky. Just.

I was thinking black and brown but black and grey is an acceptable answer.

Not any more!

Fincher by a mile. Zodiac, Se7en, and The Social Network are all better than anything Aronofsky's ever done. Only Black Swan comes close.

Well I'm going to with Fincher as well. Really looking forward to Gone girl with Ben Affleck. Both d.a and d.f are great directors.

Well as it stands its 5 a piece.
