Williams.
Eddie Murphy was fun in the 80s but that was about it. Williams also impressed in both comic and dramatic roles.

Williams.
They can both be incredibly annoying, but Williams is much better at dramatic or semi-serious work.

Re: Choice
I love the classic Eddie Murphys just as much as I love the classic Robin Williams, but the range of Williams is larger than Murphy's. Williams can be very moving too. Robin Williams it is.

Re: Choice
Well, i echo what Chien has to say, but for me, Eddie Murphy Raw will always stay with me, and plenty of other hits. I cant wait for Beverly Hills Cop 4 and Triplets!
Murphy for me, though i know Williams can sometimes do drama, maybe Murphy just hasn't had that chance, remember Dreamgirls?
Does not matter,
Robin Williams WINS! 5-2 over Eddie Murphy
BTW
Nicole Kidman and Eva Mendes are still tied, would someone (geez? banks? spectre? UDM? Donte????) care to break it please Or would we rather have them tied together....hmmm
Well anyways, ive got another choice, here 'tis:
Helen Mirren V Susan Surandon

Mirren. Better quality control.

Re: Choice
Sarandon.
Mirren has had better roles over the past decade, apart from the awful RED, but I'm not too familiar with her early work, whereas Sarandon has Bull Durham, Thelma & Louise, Dead Man Walking, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and more recently, Enchanted.
And looking at their IMDB profiles just now, I was stunned to see that they're almost the same age. Maybe the fact that Sarandon looks fifteen years younger is part of the reason she's not getting many good roles these days. She's still stuck in that dead zone where she looks too young to play the distinguished roles Mirren is known for, but too old to play romantic interests and action heroines.

Re: Choice
So Kidman and Mendes still locked together at 3 a piece
Im also going with Mirren. which makes that current score 4-1
And another one til the next:
(might call Mondays, character actor Monday)
Clifton Collins Jr V Michael Pena

Re: Choice
Pena by far. One of the most criminally underrated actors in all of Hollywood who excels at both comedy and drama.

Re: Choice
I do like Collins, but I gotta go with Pena here too.
And while we're doing character actors:
James Cromwell vs. David Morse (both were in the Green Mile)

Re: Choice
Collins (NSpan would kill me for not picking him) and Cromwell (a bit more versatile than Morse, who usually tends to play antagonists).

Nicole Kidman and Eva Mendes are still tied....
cool, my chance to pick em.
Ill go Mirren over Surandon, class over uh, old that looks not so old
Collins Jr is a bit of fav of mine since i seen in in 187 with Samuel L Jackson, so ill go with though i know Pena is a great actor
And lastly ill pick Morse, another old time fav

Re: Choice
Oh, didnt see i voted twice. Does not matter.
Helen Mirren wins against Susan Surandon
At this stage:
Michael Pena is at 3, Clifton Collins Jr 2
and
David Morse is on 2, James Cromwell 1
Just want to wait for 1 or 2 more votes before i call it.
meanwhile, Kidman and Mendes are still tied 3-3. I guess it will remain that way...
