and I wouldn't expect my utility broker to lower himself to such a compromising position, Patrick.

Also, Six, I was going to wrap up my favorite albums postings last night... but I can't find my original list. Which means I will just have to reimagine my top 29 (or so). Shouldn't be too difficult. My tastes don't change often (as that would implicitly be admitting to being "wrong" at some juncture... which simply will not do).

Did we compile the picks so far in one page on that subforum? I'm looking for my 100-30 and--evidently--forgot how to use the internet

Don't think we compiled everything until we got to #1, so you'll have to check the end of each individual thread. That's your punishment for the abandonment.

With our nominations due in one week, I figured that I would list a few scores I'd like to do For Your Consideration ads for.

47 Ronin - Ilan Eshkeri

Kon-Tiki - Johan Soderqvist

Wrong Cops - Mr. Oizo (Quentin Dupleux, who was also writer and director)

You are quite right, Chien and Boushh. We have just one week until nominations are due, 20th February, so if you are aiming to cram in another movie or two (I know I can finally see Her this weekend as it gets its release), do so as soon as possible.

As a reminder, you will be submitting nominees for all categories this time, for which you can nominate a maximum of five in each one. You can find all the information on the front page of this thread, and once compiled the nominees will be revealed on 21st February prior to your voting for the winners which will be revealed in the Award Ceremony early March.

Americans are weird. They've got menus offering to eat dog. What a decadent country.

Chien, you're really setting yourself up for a joke about Korean cuisine.

But you're a Frenchman who wants to be Korean, which is even worse than being a Frenchman. You should be proud of your heritage, no matter how disreputable.

The French Dog Who Wanted To Be Korean, now there's a children's book with a very unhappy ending. ;-)
