Hmm. I'd say 70% of your nominations are exactly the same as mine. Only ones where we do not match are the movies I have yet to see (such as The Road, Bright Star, The White Ribbon and Precious).

Dammit, was Departures available for nomination? I forgot because it won the Academy Award last year, but that would most certainly have won my vote this year. Let's hope it gets enough nominations.

I have to confess I found Departures to be a bore, and I'm fascinated by Japanese culture. . I also thought the lead went far too over the top in his performance.
