So here's the reason why many video stores around me are closing: Movie Gallery filed for Chapter 11. Also, Blockbuster is reorganizing. Inbetween the two, about 1,500 to 2,000 stores are closing across the US.

I just picked up Borat and Fast and Furious for $5 each at the Blockbuster that is closing near me. Hoping the prices get even lower soon.
