They're now saying the guy was "a kind of a drifter", a 50's white male, living in a hotel in the area but from Alabama (a neighboring state). Why Trainwreck? Was it random? I don't know if we'll ever know.

Professional wrestler and sometimes actor Rowdy Roddy Piper died Friday at the age of 61. On the movie side he's best known for starring in John Carpenter's "They Live". When wrestling was extremely popular in the '80;s he was one of the biggest stars. I'll probably watch a few Youtube clips this week (SPOILER: I already have) and maybe They Live.

Damn.

Best line of the 80's: I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum."

Miss ya, Roddy!

If you hear about a gunman at a theater in Nashville theater that was killed it was really a guy with a hatchet and pepper spray. The "gun" was an airsoft gun which is basically a paintball gun minus the paint. I believe it was the same type of gun (airsoft) as the kid that was killed for pointing it at people in Ohio. Two people were treated for pepper spray and one for a "superficial" hatchet wound. The "gunman" was a homeless "psychotic" white male aged 29. If this happened on the street in any major US city it wouldn't be reported.

Next they're going to call this guy a gunman:

Ironic that this happens just after I change my avatar to Henry Winkler.

Al Molinaro, who played the role of Al on Happy Days opposite Henry Winkler from 1974 to 1984 (and who made the Weezer video for Buddy Holly even more classic), passed away on October 29 at the age of 96.

Shryke I wish you never change your new avatar. Even when you write bad news (although I already knew that one), something beautiful comes out of it.
