I now have enough votes to add all of the first six movies to the list, and will do so on Sunday or Monday in case anyone wants to add a pricing scheme before then. I have almost enough to add the rest, should it become necessary. Boosh, surfer, if you could create prices for the supplemental list, I would be grateful.

All Good Things may have done good in theatres, but it's doing even better on demand. It's already made a few million on the format and it's Magnolia's most successful VOD film ever. So it looks like Magnolia's pickup will break profit before DVD and cable.

It looks like that after Black Swan's high opening, Fox has given up on 127 Hours and will probably not go any wider on it. Typical Fox (selling the sex rather than the story, which is most likely also the reason why Fox hasn't given up on Love and Other Drugs' minuscule Oscar chances).

Actually, despite having it on almost all my slates it looks like 127 Hours has just run out of steam. It actually made less this weekend than last, despite expanding into another 140 locations. I don't know if it is still planned for a wide release in early January, but don't expect it to do Slumdog numbers now.

Black Swan performed very well, but not that much better than 127 hours in it's first weekend. I suspect that with The Fighter set for release next weekend (as well as Narnia), followed by Casino Jack, Rabbit Hole, Country Strong, Somewhere and The Illusionist in just the next three weekends, that Black Swan will not maintain its high PTA for too long. There seem to be so many limited releases coming out soon, it's going to be hard for any one movie to break out and in terms of the game score over 10 PTA points.
