hey, they're the ones who stuck a computer in front of me in a meeting...what do they expect?

Anybody else seeing shows sold out for Salt? Seems like it's hard to get a gauge on this movie.

Nothing was sold out here but Ramona and Beezus was about one-third full during rush hour.

No word just yet on Friday's numbers, but Inception has made exactly $100M in seven days. Bravo!

Can Eclipse get to $300M? Can Toy Story 3 get to $400M? It's going to be close...

BOM's Sunday Actuals are in, kind of. There is no trace of "Life During Wartime" as of this moment, so I may wait until tonight before posting the actual PTA. However, I CAN tell you that "Countdown to Zero" did, in fact, finish with a higher PTA than "The Kids Are All Right", and will win the crown unless "Wartime" is able to beat it.

Top 5

5 points - Inception, $42.7M ($142.8M overall)
4 points - Salt, $36.0M
3 points - Despicable Me, $23.7M ($161.3M overall)
2 points - Sorcrer's Apprentice, $9.7M ($42.6M overall)
1 point - Toy Story 3, $8.9M ($379.4M overall)

$30,000 in one theatre. Not bad for a sequel in which no one returned (Life During Wartime is the sequel to Happiness).

No reason it shouldn't. It's already in 201 locations and is a monster hit. I will probably expand to about 500-750 theaters, and hopefully one of those will be near you.
