Beach Rats took in $17,100 in three theatres on Friday. This should mean a PTA of at least $15,000 for the weekend.

The most amusing number this week is that a film called Bushwick (which has become a Sharknado-esque joke on the Internet) made $1,100 on Friday in 41 theatres. That's a PTA of $27.

Bushwick is a Netflix film, so it's not all that surprising.
Indeed the film has a terrible reputation, can't believe it was at the Director's Fortnight in Cannes this year.

Image released Bushwick. Had it been Netflix, it wouldn't have reported and been limited to four or five theatres.

So much for those claims insiders made a few years back that Dave Bautista would be the next Dwayne Johnson (and I'm still trying to figure how they'll bring back his character for the next Bond movie).

Pretty simple: He survived getting hurled from that train.

My bad, I thought it was a Netflix Original, as the film is already streaming on Netflix in France, and since I knew it was getting released in the US, I thought it was worlwide on Netflix. It is very rare that a film is on Netflix in France at the same time it gets released in theater in the US, I'm not sure it ever happened.

No one could survive that. Sure, he might have a thick neck but he's not a cartoon.
