May films now added. Can someone claim 4/17? I know it's not sexy now that James Bond is gone and Trolls have taken their place, but let's fill in the blanks!

With there being no wide releases on April 3rd (and I don't feel like covering the single limited release, especially if we suspend the game for the time being), what should I write about? Video store memories? Worst movie theatre experiences? The problem with clausterphobia? Movies that should be on Blu-ray but aren't? I'd like suggestions that make us forget about all this happening around us.

Worst movie experiences would be fun.

I'm also thinking of food in movies that would be fun to recreate. I really want to try the cake that the kid was eating on the floor in Parasite.

And now I'm reminded of those amazing cookies the Alamo Drafthouse did for Parasite. Shame they didn't return for the Best of 2019 promotion.

At the premiere of Extra-Ordinary they gave us ectoplasm jello shots. I had 4. They also gave us "a gravel" which I still have lying around somewhere.

Hi,

Obviously, we haven't had one of these columns for a long while. With the release date calendar slowly going back to relative normality, should we restart the weekly column?

I think a good starting date would be the 18th - there are three wide releases (Umma - though this may be moved, X - although I'm not sure if X is in the game - and The Outfit). I also have time to write the column for this week, but I don't mind someone else stepping up if they would prefer.

Let me know what everyone thinks we should do.

Definitely worth reinstating but it still feels very slow at the moment. Maybe closer to summer when things should finally kick off?

April 1st could be a reasonable starting date. The slate in April is pretty busy and that would also coincide with the start of the next season.

It's a great idea, but I don't think I'd be able to do it. If someone wants to take it over - or maybe do a rotating schedule - go for it.
