I looked at Eric Roberts' IMDb page a few days ago and said WTF? He does like 50 things a year.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

That's the thing when you only make films of the quality Mr Roberts does. You make dozens a year because one of them might turn out to be decent...

Top 10:
5 points - The Jungle Book, $60.8M
4 points - The Huntsman: Winter's War, $20M
3 points - Barbershop: The Next Cut, $10.8M
2 pointS - Zootopia, $6.6M

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, $2.1M
Compadres, $1.3M

I am beyond impressed with Zootopia. It's been a long time since a movie has hung around in the Top 5 for eight weeks (discounting Star Wars).
And Jungle Book - wow. It looks like there will be FOUR $300M earners before we even hit May. Just unreal.
PTA:
5 points - The Jungle Book
4 points - Green Room
3 points - Sing Street
2 points - The Huntsman: Winter's War
1 point - Barbershop: The Next Cut
The Meddler, Compades and Hologram all just missed.

Re: TAKE IT TO THE BANKS - THE FILMS OF 4/22
There's a discrepancy with The Meddlar's PTA. Deadline has reported it earned 60K for the weekend, giving it a PTA of 15K, meaning it's tied for top spot. I guess the actuals tomorrow will clarify.
Re: TAKE IT TO THE BANKS - THE FILMS OF 4/22
It looks like Box Office Mojo, in all their former glory, used The Meddler's PTA as its total box office take.

Just have to find someway to talk about Ratchet & Clank without resorting to "WTF is this"

Re: TAKE IT TO THE BANKS - THE FILMS OF 4/22
Ratchet and Clank is a poorly marketed film from a Playstation game series. It looks like it filled the niche that Crash Bandicoot used to. PSX generally doesn't get kids games right (LittleBigPlanet aside). I play most of the games that come out for PlayStation and have only spent less than an hour with the series. They put a $40 new budget release out a few weeks ago, lowering the price to hopefully get some more people in the theater) and I don't think it did that well.
