I'm glad I had the foresight to save a spot for The Fault In Our Stars in round 4 where heavy frontloading won't matter, but I couldn't find a spot for it in round 5 where I was already committed to the X-Men and couldn't find a combo of films that seemed to work.

And take your time, Shryke, no worries.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Shryke. I'll echo everyone else sentiments about the estimates for this weekend, we can handle that duty ourselves.

Well Deadline is reporting a 53% tumble on saturday for The Fault in our Stars, so I guess it's über frontloaded, but it will be worthy anyway.

Woo! Took a flyer on Obvious Child, didn't think it would beat TFiOS or EoT this weekend.

That Friday->Saturday dip in Fault makes me wonder about its legs. Still a damn impressive opening weekend number, though.

Supermensch: The Legend Of Shep Gordon earned a PTA of $7K, so it gets 1 point.

Did anyone notice that the movie Lullaby which opens in limited release this weekend has its distributor listed as "unknown" on BOM? IMDB says it's actually some company called ARC Entertainment, whose big claim to fame thus far was that Nitro Circus whatever a few years ago, but I found it funny that BOM couldn't even be bothered to look it up. The trailer is one of the worst I've ever seen so maybe the distributor should send it to theatres anonymously, in a brown paper bag with no return address.

Same. Decided to take a gamble on it because of the buzz out of Sundance. Glad it paid off.

Anyone see the IMDbs for Fault and Edge? 8.6 and 8.2 respectively. Wow! I took Fault banking on a mediocre 6.5 or so thinking the Twilight hater crowd (aka teenage boys and those dragged to the theater) would screw it out of a half point or a point. I wonder what they'll drop to... Fault seems like the kind of movie where it could drop hard within the month.
