But no one liked The Wolverine. People actually seem to like this Spider Man

Interestingly, the Cinemascore for both Wolverine 1 and Amazing Spiderman 2 was the same: B+
Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 5/2
IMDB score is almost a point higher for Spider-Man, though I'll admit I wouldn't have guessed The Wolverine's cinemascore was that high. I just never heard a good word about it from anyone. I've already heard good things about this new Spidey.

Yeah, ASM2 was at least way better than ASM1.

Well, there's this kid named Peter Parker, and he was bitten by a radioactive spider and developed spider-like abilities...undeadmonkey wrote:that's good to hear. I know i have seen the first one but i can't remember a single thing about the movie

Re: SPEARE'S TIPS - The Films of 5/2
Quite a Sunday to Monday drop or Spidey (5.1 M)...that's over 2M lower than the first one AND the first one had been out 7 days by the time Monday rolled around. Also, through 4 days it's about neck and neck with the first movie, except the first four days of the first movie were Wed-Sat, not Fri-Mon. Unless it gets a big bounce back, me thinks this one was not worth the price tag.
Even if it performs exactly the same as the first one the rest of the way it will only get to 214M. So I don't think Undeadmonkey was so crazy to say it might struggle to get to 200M. If it keeps performing under Spidey #1 than I can see it hovering the 200M mark.
