Good weekend overall for the novelties. Even if Son of God was frontloaded and crushed next weekend, it would stsill be very much worth it.

Monuments Men actually turned out to be a decent pick. Still hanging around in the top 5 in its fourth week. So glad I tool Lunchbox in every ult. league!

Looking at the actuals, Son Of God had a good hold on Sunday and finished just ahead of Non-Stop for the day. I guess Church And A Movie is a new date night option for Christians.

And I find it ironic that a lot of people who consider Hollywood a modern Sodom and Gomorrah spent Oscar Sunday in a movie theatre. Brilliant counter-programming.

Boxoffice Mojo had the headline of the weekend, maybe year so far: "Neeson Beats Jesus." I literally laughed out loud when I opened the website.
