It's like ten tickets sold per theater! Maybe less! For the entire weekend! That is mind-bogglingly awful.

And as to the reverse of that, the high number for Way, Way, Back with the 19 theaters bodes pretty well for that one to have some legs. Anybody know what it's expanding to this week? I'm hoping to ride it for a few more weeks to make up for some bad picks earlier.

I'd expect another couple of PTAs for it next weekend, perhaps one more the weekend after, but I imagine that would be it's limit. No news on theatre counts yet though.

It's supposed to be getting 75 more theaters this weekend and then wide on the 26th, according to BOM.

Interesting. Well, if it picks up some solid PTA numbers with a hundred screens that would be pretty fantastic. Here's the weekend!

With 75 theatres this weekend and up against limited releases like Fruitvale Station and The Hunt, I'm not convinced it will make any more PTA points. Maybe 1 if Crystal Fairy is a disaster and if one of the wide releases underperforms.
