As of now I'm happy I went with Man of Steel.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

Yeah those are awful numbers for Star Trek. I stayed far away, not because I thought it would do poorly, just because I thought it wasn't worth its price with the competition next weekend. It will probably only get 7 top 5 points.

Surprisingly low figures indeed. I hope people don't prefer to keep their money for F&F6 !

That may be exactly what happened since ERC is reporting that the OW audience was 64% male and 73% 25+.

Box Office Mojo is running late but ERC is saying 70.5 million for the 3-day weekend, $85 overall.

I hope Pieta can sneak in there and grab those 4 PTA points. There's room for it.

BO.com reports it at $6.228 on 12 screens, with a meager average of just $519 per screen. I hope it's wrong, because if it's so it would be a huge disappointment.

Boxoffice.com has the same numbers for Pieta. Very poor reception.

Crazy big number on Francis Ha. I left it off most of my slates because I was afraid it would max out around 6 PTA, but it could definitely do more with that great start.

Awesome. Good weekend after missing out on Gatsby last weekend. Had Frances Ha on most Ultimate Slates and only had Star Trek on a couple of BO ones.

Looks like it's almost official... Pieta scores a PTA of less than $1000. Fuck.

Awful, awful, awful news about Pieta. What happened to US cinephiles ? The first Korean film ever to win the Golden Lion at Venice, the return of Kim Ki-Duk, and no one shows up ??!! Come on !
