Well, I see that emos can still drive a movie to success.

Meanwhile, what happened to Dead Man Down? The marketing was strong and the cast was there but only a $5.5 million weekend. In Hollywood's constant attempts to turn every week into Summer, it feels like that adult-aimed product is suffering the hardest and this film is no exception.

I personally wanted to see Dead Man Down and thought it looked interesting, especially with Terrence Howard playing the villain. But it was obviously a mistake opening against Oz. Just like Brooklyn's Finest opening against Alice In Wonderland.

And for the 1st time in weeks (months !), Silver Linings Playbook starts to decline a bit significantly...

Call it my gut, but I'm starting to have doubts about Oz. I'm feeling some cracks forming in the foundation. Not the greatest reviews. A pedestrian IMDB rating. And, I'm not sure it looks all that fantastic. Blasphemy, I know. We'll see. I just wanted to say something before its release. I didn't want to be accused of stating the obvious after the fact (that is if it under-performs).

So, what the fuck does that guy know!
