Isn't it strange that a wide release would get a delay so late? is it really that bad?

my top ten list through january (not really that many i want to see, had to search to fill my top ten)

1. Alice in Wonderland (looks deliciously macabre)
2. Date Night (looks hilarious)
3. Kick Ass (Stardust was very underrated, excited for what Vaughn will do with this one)
4. Legion (Crazy shit happens in the trailer, hopefully even more crazy shit happens in the movie)
5. Clash of the Titans ( Looks epic enough for a good time)
6. The Bounty Hunter (Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler in an action flick is an interesting combination)
7. Piranha 3D (has my current crush Jessica Szohr in 3D)
8. Last Night ( dont know much about it, but it has Eva Mendes, Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington)
9. Percy Jackson ( looks ok)
10. Shutter ISland ( really wanted to see this back in October, but since then i've figured out the ending and now is not a must see)

I don't watch a ton of tv, but I've seen roughly 1000 trailers for Leap Year. Ok, I'm exaggerating, but its everywhere I look seemingly. Maybe 8 to 1 or 10 to 1 tv trailers over Daybreakers?

Let's see... Top 8 as of now.

1. Hot Tub Time Machine - R trailer was better, but I still have hopes for it.
2. Youth in Revolt - Looks hilarious, what can go wrong with a movie including Zack G and (Steve) Buscemi?
3. Book of Eli - I've been waiting for Denzel to do something dramatically different for a while.
4. Kick-Ass - I just got into this the other day. One day it looks better and the next it looks not as good.
5. Clash of the Titans - Should be eye pleasing at least...
6. Cop Out - Looks decent. Wish the trailer was a little crazier.
7. The Runaways (maybe) - I started to view the trailer and stopped for some reason, that's why its a maybe.
8. From Paris with Love (maybe) - Premise sounds good, haven't watched the trailer yet.

Last year I anticipated Watchmen, MvA, Soloist, Knowing, Push and that was it. I now have no want to see Push or The Soloist... ever

My top 6 from Jan-April last year were:

1. Watchmen
2. Taken
3. Adventureland
4. I Love You, Man
5. Monsters vs. Aliens
6. Haunting in Connecticut

I still have a few that I want to see from that time period, but just haven't yet including Sunshine Cleaning, Fanboys, Anvil!, and possibly Tyson.

Youth In Revolt looks good for the split personality element but would look ever better had they stayed closer to the book and kept his third personality (as a woman*).

*-that's right, Michael Cera in drag

Agreed, but it is mostly on channels that appeal to women. I've been with my gf for the past week straight (which also accounts for my general absense from the boards) and it is on abc family and the like all the time.

I have actually only seen a handful of ad's for Leap Year and quite a few for Daybreakers. Clearly that is just the channels I watch must be avoiding Leap Year ad's.

I just read a review for Daybreakers in which they called it an outdated mess. But I guess that's what happens when you shoot in 2007 and shelve it for three years.
