Exactly. Everyone fortunately saw through that one.

Stupid me, I was under the impression that a good trailer would make a good movie.

But I watched What's Your Number last night, and once again I was duped by that damn Fox marketing.

The fact that the commercials are saying it's 20x funnier than Bridesmaids is funnier itself than anything in the damned movie.

The trailer was awful. It basically showed that it was 27 Dresses with raunchy humor.

Yeah, it might've looked awful to some, but it got pretty big laughs in theaters. Obviously, though it didn't translate to ticket sales.

I don't know, UDM, I thought Bridesmaids was pretty funny. Anytime Melissa McCarthy was on-screen was pure gold especially.

Although I did a last minute hemorrhage of What's My Number? from all my slates it was on in favour of 50/50, I have to admit, I was with Banks in that audience reaction to the movie trailer was phenomenal. Until recently I was expecting a $20m opening, but with all the bad WOM leading up to its release I had a change of heart, and thank god I did.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil only played at midnight. That explains the low PTA.

This means more raunchy comedies with completely shallow and unlikeable main characters. Thanks a lot, moviegoers.
