Well I would say that while some limited release films often do have an IMDB score prior to being released here in the US, the IMDB score will often change after its US release. As for Tyler Perry, well For Coloured Girls DID get 5.0 on IMDB which is twice what his films usually get, so there is always the possibility for surprise whereas there isn't for re-releases. Hence my opinion that rereleases should be entirely excluded from the game if possible.

Well, the Italians have the rules set up their way, and as long as we are playing this game, we have to abide by them. And unless that changes, I think we really have only one choice.

So if re-releases like The Lion King can steal Top 5 points and PTA away from films that are actually IN the game, I would vote that we should include them. We may not like it, but I think we can live with it. High-potential re-releases aren't that prevalent yet.

I'd vote to exclude the re-releases any way we can.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.
