I was only expecting $13 million due to poor early word. However, the reception over the ending is not good.

Here, the showing of Rango I went to was packed to the gills (I ended up sitting next to a really annoying ten year old who said some really stupid things and wasn't being watched by her parents because they were in another row) and a showing of Beastly sold out.
Everything on this post is strictly the opinion and only the opinion of Buscemi.

Sunday Estimates

Top 5:
5 points - Rango, $38M
4 points - The Adjustment Bureau, $20.9M
3 points - Beastly, $10.1M
2 points - Hall Pass, $9M
1 point - Gnomeo and Juliet, $6.9M
#11. Take Me Home Tonight, $3.5M

PTA:
5 points - Happythankyoumoreplease
4 points - Rango
3 points - The Adjustment Bureau
2 points - Of Gods and Men
1 point - Beastly

This PTA is probably going to change, since there were a lot of films not reported in the estimates. The new film I Saw the Devil was not reported. I can tell you that The Last Lions is no longer in the Top 5 PTA. I'm hoping that I Saw the Devil grabs some PTA, since I have it in a few Ultimate leagues.

User Ratings:

Rango - 7.8
The Adjustment Bureau - 7.4
Beastly - 5.8
Take Me Home Tonight - 7.0
Happythankyoumoreplease - 7.0
I Saw the Devil - 8.0

How come you put "Of Gods and Men" in front of "I saw the Devil" for Jan/Feb Leagues, and then "Of Gods and Men" isn't in your count for March Leagues Shryke ?

Because PTA points only include the films that come out during the league's season. So from MAr-May leagues only films released in that period can get PTA points. Of Gods and Men came out in Feb, so is only eligible for points in the Feb-April leagues (as well as Jan-Mar and Dec-Feb leagues).

Which means that there's a bit of a flaw in the system because if 5 movies get released on the first weekend of the month, they are all guaranteed PTA points (even if the films from the previous, inelligible months have a higher PTA that week). Does that make sense?
