We've gotten five inches of snow so far here. Still plan to see Sanctum on Saturday though.

Working fine for me. Try not using Internet Explorer, it's useless (that said, I'm using Firefox which is getting progressively worse too!)

I just tried and I had no problems. I'm using IE. Is there anything you want me to check?

So, tranny and I can't get in, and UDM, SS and Six can. I was originally going to posit that the problem seems to be US-localized, but since UDM lives here (I think), that shoots that theory down.

Round One of the Mini-Super leagues is over, but I can wait until the site comes back up for me (knock on wood) before I post the results.

However, if someone who CAN get in could e-mail or PM me the players who came in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in both of the November Regulars Leagues, I would be grateful. Along with the final point totals (ult) and dollars earned (bo) of those three players.\

I've sent Manuela a couple of e-mails explaining the problem, and she says her tech guy is on it. She asked me if I tried to "cancel provolona's cookies". I'm not even sure what that means, let alone of its something that I did or not. I routinely try to empty my cookies folder, just to improve my computer's performance (I've had a huge problem with browser hijackers lately, not sure how to get rid of them), and I hope that last time I did it, it didn't take something essential with it. But I tend to doubt it, because my first problem with getting into the game site was a few days ago, but that evening it was fine. Then, the next morning, it was gone again, and it's been gone ever since.

And I'm not sure I can use anything but IE. It's the only Internet program on my computer at the moment.

ETA: I tried downloading Mozilla FIrefox and accessing the game site from there, but it still wouldn't let me. Guess the browser isn't the problem.

I liked this critical blurb on Waiting For Forever (currently at 0% on Rotten Tomatoes)
If your idea of a great Valentine's Day is to ring up your secret beloved and breathe heavily into the phone, this is the movie for you.
This came from the website Movieline.

Meanwhile, Sanctum is at 60% (3/5). The three positive reviews came from Australia while the two negative reviews came from UK and US quote whores.

Here in Massachusetts we have gotten at least a foot of snow once a week since Christmas. We got 6 inches today and we are supposed to get another 12-16 tommorow. I think it should be cleaned up by the weekend so the movie business should be alright for the weekend.

edit:Shryke, I can get on the site now.

Well, that's great. Apparently I am now the only one who STILL can't get on. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

If it is a cookies problem in that you have accidentally disabled Provolona, go into Tools>Internet Options>Privacy and allow cookies (either all or selected). Otherwise, I'm not sure.

EDIT: I remember a while back when I had problems with my laptop that sometimes it worthwhile (and I know this sounds silly) unplugging either/both your modem/wall connection, and rebooting. May not help, but it's usually the first point of call for basic issues, and it's ridiculous how often that solves the problem.

Okay, I fixed it. I told my computer to restore its settings to what they were a few days ago, before I had problems getting in. Let's hope this problem stays fixed. Thanks for all your help.

Now, if only I could rid my computer of its browser hijacker problems...

Surprisingly here, Sanctum is playing on two screens at the main first-run theatre. Both screens have the 3-D version (the flat version will only be shown in 200 theatres).

Yeah I threw down Cold Weather on a few slate, hoping it would nab 3 PTA points. Boy am I pleased!

Sunday Actuals

Top 5:
5 points - The Roommate, $15.0M
4 points - Sanctum, $9.4M
3 points - No Strings Attached, $8.0M
2 points - The King's Speech, $7.7M
1 point - The Green Hornet, $6.0M

PTA (Dec/Jan):
5 points - Cold Weather, $14,513
4 points - The Rommate, $5,921
3 points - Barney's Version, $4,534
2 points - Biutiful, $3,585
1 point - Sanctum, $3,390

PTA (Feb):
5 points - Cold Weather, $15,100
4 points - The Rommate, $6,156
3 points - Sanctum, $3,390
2 points - Waiting For Forever, $2,972

So WFF gets even fewer points than estimated before. Damn it. And that now makes SIXTEEN PTA points for Barney's Version.
