I don't think Isn't it Romantic's numbers are that impressive. I Feel Pretty grossed $49 million. With this one having a studio budget and promotional campaign, it should be ahead of that film's pace. It could actually finish below, even though it will stay in theatres for a while.

Weekend Estimates

Top 10:
5 points - Alita: Battle Angel, $27.8M
4 points - The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, $21.2M
3 points - Isn't It Romantic, $14.2M
2 points - What Men Want, $10.9M
1 point - Happy Death Day 2U, $9.8M
Cold Pursuit, $6.0M
The Upside, $5.6M
Glass, $3.9M
The Prodigy, $3.2M
Green Book, $2.8M

PTA:
5 points - Fighting With My Family
4 points - Birds of Passage
3 points - Everybody Knows
2 points - Alita: Battle Angel
1 point - The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

Looks like The Upside is a shoe-in for $100M now. The LEGO Movie 2 seems also likely to hit that milestone, but not much more. I predict a larger dropoff once Dragon 3 hits next week.
Happy 60th birthday Jet Li! (4/26/23)

STX has had an impressive run over the past few years, at least in comparison to other mini-major studios.
It's not destroying. It's making something new.

STX has been very hit-or-miss. Had the Weinstein scandal (which led to them getting The Upside) not happened, they'd been known as the people that made The Happytime Murders.

True, but they've had a better run than, say, Relativity.
