Here seems to be the most painless procedure:

I e-mail everyone in the SL the pricing scheme, and as they respond, I will post them on a specific thread for each league. Any changes that need to be made can be done by e-mailing or PM'ing me, as long as they are prior to the film's release.

I suspect we may lose a few of the non-Regulars doing this process, but oh well, it'll have to be this way until we come up with a new solution.

Since we've started the February leagues, and the April leagues will not be added, I'll try to get this up and running before too long.

In the meantime, I hope I can count on my regular Pricing Panel members to keep helping out in that regard.

Shryke, I've been thinking about a change for the Super Leagues, for this year.

Since participation is going to be quite limited without the access to a host site, perhaps we'd be better off instead of eliminating players each month, we simply rank the players and award points based on order of finish (most points for first, least points for last). We should obviously have a new host site by next year, and we can switch back to the original format then (or if we like this format, set up two different games). I just think with this now the only game in town, eliminations wouldn't be in our best interest, nor would they really work with such a limited pool of players.

Geezer's got a point. It's definitely an idea worthy of consideration.

Especially since there's no regular leagues to keep people interested if they get eliminated.

I've always been in favour of a cumulative scoring system instead of a winner-take-all final round.

That could work. I like the idea. It will reward those with the doggedness to hang on by at least allowing them to keep playing.

Exactly, I don't want to give anyone the incentive to leave. At least this way you'd be allowed to stay in it all through the year, especially with no regulars to fall back on upon elimination. It may determine a winner before the final round, which would be anti-climactic, but I think it would be more positive than negative for sure. And like I said, we would switch back next year, or play both formats, once we find a home.

I like that idea as well. Gives people a shot to redeem themselves if they put together a shitty slate in one round.

I'll try to participate, but with my new responsibilities at work, and what seems to be developing into a new relationship, I'm kinda pressed for time. Getting a good slate to add up to $100 was hard enough when the site did it manually.

You just made me realize her birthday is in late April when I'm usually eagerly anticipating the results of one yearly draft and preparing for another. I'd better get my research finished early this year or start figuring out how I'll make it up to her.
