So far this is playing out a lot like the fall edition. I've got the early lead, Chien is hot on my heels, and Banks has the lead in terms of average, waiting to make a big push at the end, although I can't see Black Annie and Exodus having the same impact as GOTG and TMNT. The main difference is that I'm only middle of the pack in terms of average, so some fall films will have to disappoint for me to hang on, especially Interstellar.

There's still a lot of question marks indeed coming this fall. It'll be interesting to see what will disappoint and what will surprise.

Gotta say I was pretty awful at this for a first go. It'll be good to have a second chance soon.

Not much left in the year, with only December and January's BO intake counting to the game

Everyone has at least one film yet to open, but as it's the Hobbit, a film we all have, that won't change the rank. Some have 4 films left to open.

TOTAL (in millions)
Chien : 3558
Silvers: 3460
Disco Stu: 3428
John E: 3404
Brockster: 3387
Banks : 3384
shaan: 3369
Empire: 3273
Shryke: 3236
Transf: 3183
Jas: 3173
W: 3159
Walleye: 3145
UDM: 3130
Six: 3118
Buscemi: 2651

Chien takes the lead and will be tough to beat at this late stage, unless Into the Woods really overperforms. Still a lot to play for in the middle, with only a few dozen million between most of us.

AVERAGE
Banks : 211
Shaan: 198
Chien : 197
UDM: 195
Silvers: 192
Shryke: 190
Disco Stu: 190
John E: 189
Brockster: 188
Transf: 187
Jas: 186
W : 185
Six: 173
Empire: 172
Walleye: 166
Buscemi: 165

The averages have Banks still on top, although if Annie or Exodus underperform that will drop significantly.

Next update will be at the start of Jan, where the final outcome will start to emerge.

Good luck.

Guess I have to hope Annie, as my bench pick, can pull in over $100m...

Annie is your 2nd bench pick, right? When Home got pushed, your Tammy went into play, so I don't think Annie will be counted for you.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. (It wouldn't be the first time)

Call me cocky, but I think I can still win this. Chien's only got NATM3 and a $150M lead, and I have Annie, Exodus, and Into The Woods.

If Exodus performs like Noah, that's $100. Woods should be another $100, and Annie will be good for $75. NATM will hit $125-$150.

So with NATM hitting $150 and his lead, Chien's up by $300M. With my biased estimates ( :D ), My 3 should net me $275M.

OK, well maybe not, but it'll be close I think.

When Into the Woods banks 2 bills, you'll be laughing all the way to the bank(s).

We all know you're cocky Banks, we won't hold that against you ;)
But you've got a point, it will be close. But I finished 2nd already last year, I'm aiming for the Top !

With all the films in our game released, here's one more update before the official winner is announced at the end of the month.

TOTAL (in millions)
Chien : 3972
Banks : 3902
Silvers: 3901
shaan: 3846
Disco Stu: 3811
Brockster: 3759
John E: 3750
Shryke: 3676
UDM: 3661
Transf: 3660
Jas: 3650
Empire: 3609
W: 3590
Six: 3531
Walleye: 3491
Buscemi: 3181

There's about 70m between Chien and the next two. Banks has Annie, Exodus, and Into the Woods, and if they hold well he could take top spot.

Stay tuned.

Mmmm... it's gonna be a close one.
The combination of Exodus + Annie + Into the Woods basically makes twice the BO results of Night at the Museum 3, which I have and Banks does not have.
So does my $70M lead means that Banks is gonna need more than $140M from his trio of films to take the lead over me ? It's a genuine question because I suck at math...
