These Results are very nearly official. For the record, On The Road finished in 3rd in PTA last week, knocking The Impossible and The Hobbit down to 2 and 1 for that weekend, and Not Fade Away down to zero.

Most of this weekend's numbers are now official, so unless there are some whopping great differences between the major studios' estimates and its actuals, these results should hold up.

Ultimate Full Year

Scripps takes the gold medal, just a hair ahead of a large group of people. He finishes with 35.5 points, one point ahead of bestfilm, two ahead of Chienfantome, and three ahead of aquamann. Spectre rounds out the Top Five, 4.5 point back.

Ultimate Half Year

Dammit, it's a tie. And since a two-person runoff seems a lot more impractical in Ultimate than in Box Office, I figure the best recourse is to just crown co-champions. So congratulations to Brockster and Chienfantome, who end up in a tie for first, just one point ahead of Spectre and two ahead of aquamann. silversurfer finishes a distant fifth.

Box Office Full Year

Brockster edges out jas_8382 by only $109K. Django's numbers went down slightly when they went official, so pulpdogs finishes in third place, about $650K behind. Fourth and fifth place go to donnie and thswrestler160, respectively.

Box Office Half Year

Bestfilm finishes with $774M, more than $86M ahead of Scripps for second place. The bronze medal goes to jas_8382, who edged out kblane and leestu (who had identical slates) by only $675K.

So congratulations to all the winners! Very well done, all of you!

The March Movies have been added to the Master List, and are now available for picking...

... that is, all except for the films due out on March 1. For some reason, those films are not yet being displayed. Must be some glitch or something. I let Mario know.

Sigh. If it's not one thing, it's another...

Might be worth posting the prices of the March 1 films so we can plan our slate, Shryke.

Are we going to have a tiebreaker head to head league?

Don't think so. It's impractical to have an Ultimate league where there are only two players. Co-champions seems the better road to take.... unless Chien and Brockster are game...

I'm honestly fine with a co-victory. Having a tiebreaker would mean 3 months of competition which means we would be well into the 2013 Super leagues.
Unless Brockster insists on the contrary, it's fine this way.

I'm happy to share the honor as well...I have enough trouble keeping tabs on my several slates.
