Wow. Everything from Dec 16 to the end of the month should be about $5 higher!

Which were also not high enough at the time, but now it's even more evident now that Twilight isn't in the game!

Probably so. I guess that's a fault in the pricing system which could be addressed, though because of the way it affects the game I imagine it will be difficult to implement. At least there are a variety of options open for the January- February movies, should help ensure that slates are not totally similar.

Yeah I think there's a problem in the fact the prices are not re-evaluated once a season is over, because a lot of the pricing comes with the mix of films in the bag. When some films are not in the equation anymore, it changes the value of those remaining.

I think it's not easy to change the prices for every month, so the best thing to do is for us to keep this in mind when pricing, to make sure that the films coming out the first weekend of month 2 should be priced higher, as they will become the opening films of month of the next round (and get PTA automatically if there's 5 or less films).

Wait, what? You don't reprice every film for each individual season? Can I ask why? That seems crazy to me. Prices should be determined based on the competition of that particular season, what am I missing here? My brain hurts.

I think it's something to do with how the Italians get their data from BOM which is then put into their system. I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it, but I think that's the reason. It's a flaw, and like six said, one we, as the pricing committee should work around.

You can only have two prices for a particular film (and not three) for some computer technical reason, so we have once price for cutoff films and one price for the other two months.
Tenet: Criterion Edition. Now with more Backwards Man.

Okay, guys, the February films have been added to the master list and the December leagues will be up shortly.

Regarding Beauty and the Beast, the final pricing for that film will be as follows:

$12 Ult, $10 BO (Nov-Jan league only)
$15 Ult, $13 BO (Dec-Feb and Jan-Mar leagues)

Some additional limited release films were added to the list as well. Due to the sparseness of titles for January and February, I have also added the following titles:

Declaration of War (1/27) - French drama ($3 Ult, $1 BO)
Perfect Sense (2/10) - Romantic drama with Ewan McGregor and Eva Green ($3 Ult, $1 BO)
The Forgiveness of Blood (2/24) - Albanian drama ($3 Ult, $1 BO)

Interesting note: Perfect Sense also stars Ewen Bremner, who appeared opposite McGregor in Trainspotting.

Okay everyone... Round Two of the Mini-Supers are up and ready for entry. They can be found in Public leagues.

You are perfectly free to enter Round Two if you haven't entered Round One, though your chances of winning are minimal. If you wish to join Round One at this time, you still can, though only the December and January movies will be available to you.

The Regulars Leagues are also up. The themes are:

Ultimate - "Favorite Christmas Movies" (chosen by jas)
Box Office - "Favorite 6th Film in a SeriesS" (chosen by... ah, you figure it out)

You're right, I put the numbers in in the wrong order. Thanks for catching that, six. It should now be correct.
