Well, Shonenbat will likely win both Bankrupts leagues, so this round I guess his slates suck... like a fox.

Thanks Shryke. I was hoping to be well placed this round because I have a bad feeling about the next with me putting "Get on Up" everywhere...

I still hope that the combo Equalizer-Boxtrolls can give me some more chance of not being eliminated in the Ultimate Round 7.
Anyway, just the risk of it means two things:

- playing with you is very competitive, since in my slate you can't spot any real dud (maybe just Frank and, obviously, the absence of Turtles, that is what actually penalized me);

- some prices didn't really reflect the values of movies, in such cases as Boyhood, Apes and above all Guardians, they should have been priced higher since their potential could have been easily forecasted; whereas Lucy and Turtles did much more than the brightest expectations, so that their price made them a cheap bargain. I admit I was one of those who never believed in Turtles. What a fool.

The paradox is that in the half-year league I picked Get on up and yet I am in a more comfortable position.

Doing mine as we speak. May I remind everyone on the pricing committee that The Hunger Games will likely double the BO of every other movie in the time period and so should be priced accordingly. I don't want any easy decisions when picking my slates, and remember this will be the final round of Super Leagues so we need to keep the competition tight.

Yeah, I kept that in mind after you rightly pointed out how we under-priced it in the last round.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1- 50/58
The Penguins of Madagascar - 26/28

Sorry, Shryke, I have received no password for BO HY (2) R5.

Looking at prices, I think we have even exaggerated with Mockingjay (in my opinion, something like 45/52 would have better worked) and I also have the sensation that some of you has intentionally reduced the price of other movies to compensate it and make possible the creation of a slate.

I know that Hunger Games is likely going to be the greatest success of the season by far, yet in December there are several movies with boxoffice potential very cheap.

There are seven people on the pricing panel, and the price for each film depends on seven separate schemes. I don't think there is much collaboration, if any.

Besides, I think we can all agree that Hunger Games so far exceeds all other titles (including Interstellar, which I think will top out at no more than $250M) that it deserves to be priced where it is. Even at $50, I wonder how many players will dare to leave it off their slates. As for the others... well, who knows. Most of the summer blockbusters were overpriced, as it turns out, so maybe pricing the December films a little bit low is just a reaction to that.

December films are not really underpriced. December is a very competitive month with much more films released than there are spots available in the Top 5 and PTA race, AND let's not forget this season ends the last weekend of December, and some of those movies make most of their money in January.
As for Mockinjay, it doesn't seem exagerated to me. For a film that will at the very least bring in $350M in the time frame, it should be expensive. The Book of life is much more overpriced in my eyes ;)
