I was able to bring up the Italian login page, but when I clicked on the British flag it wouldn't switch over.

Don't click on the flag. Just log in on the Italian homepage. Once you get in it's exactly the same as it's always been.Shrykespeare wrote:I was able to bring up the Italian login page, but when I clicked on the British flag it wouldn't switch over.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
With the final weekend's preliminary projections up, I can say how the May-July Super, Regulars and Draft Leagues will likely shake out.
Box Office FY R5
Empire will sneak out a win over Chien by less than $4M. So close.
Eliminated: pulpdogs, smee2000, bestfilm, transformers
Box Office HY1 R5
Audrey wins by over $70M. What a landslide.
Ultimate FY R5
Chien ekes out a narrow victory over Walleye and kblane. No IM awarded.
Eliminated: Buscemi, wcrew2000, Fixius, silversurfer
Sorry, Surf.
Ultimate HY1 R5
The combination of Dawn/Boyhood/Lucy at the end makes bestfilm the easy winner. Ron Burgundy and kblane finish just under ten points back.
Ultimate Regulars (MAY) - Favorite Film Set in Asia
Transformers wins by a mile.
Box Office Regulars (MAY) - Weirdly Specific Netflix Categories
Empire wins by about $30M over SuperShaan.
May-July Draft League, Division A (UR/PTA/T5/BO)
1. silversurfer, 21 pts (6/5/6/4)
2. W, 18 pts (5/4/3/6)
3. Walleye, 16 pts (4/6/4/2)
4. Banks, 15 pts (3/2/5/5)
5. Shryke, 10 pts (2/3/2/3)
6. leestu, 4 pts (1/1/1/1)
May-July D raft League, Division B (UR/PTA/T5/BO)
1. Ron Burgundy, 19 pts (5/3/6/5)
2. empire, 14 pts (6/4.5/1.5/2)
3. Geezer, 13.5 pts (2/4.5/3/4)
T4. UDM, 12.5 pts (1/1.5/4/6)
T4. transformers, 12.5 pts (4/6/1.5/1)
T4. Brockster, 12.5 pts (3/1.5/5/3)
Wow, that's close. If it really does end in a tie, I'll have to determine the next draft order by random draw.
So leestu and myself drop to B, Ron B and empire move up to A.
As soon as I have everybody's pricing schemes, I will start the next Draft League thread.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
Hmm, that's disappointing, after I was still in all competitions too. Thought I could squeeze one more weekend out of the red zone when I wasn't mentioned last weekend, but looks like HTTYD has done me in. That's twice in two years now an animated sequel that promises so much (following Cloudy last year) knocks me out of a tournament. Let's just hope maybe your numbers are wrong...Shrykespeare wrote:

At least I've won the draft league again, as along with the one on ones, it seems to be where I'm excelling.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
Well, Surf, it wasn't just HTTYD, as you got reasonable T5 and UR from that film. None of your PTA gave you great numbers (except Boyhood, which many people had), and two of your three comedies had horrible Ratings.
Here are the nearly-set-in-stone results.
Ultimate FY R5
Winner: Chien (no IM)
Eliminated: Buscemi, wcrew2000, Fixius, silversurfer
Ultimate HY R5
Winner: bestfilm
2nd place: Ron Burgundy
3rd place: kblane
Box Office FY R5
Winner: empire (IM awarded)
Eliminated: pulpdogs, smee2000, bestfilm, transformers
Box Office HY R5
Winner: audreytheconqueror
2nd Place: SuperShaan
3rd Place: aquamann
Regulars Ultimate - transformers
Regulars Box Office - empire
Draft League - no changes from above.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
Good news is, I won a first place in Ultimate FY. Bad news is, that's not the tournament I needed to end up 1st in.
But I'm still very much happy with it. And I'm still elimination-free in 2014. Great month !

With Surfer's elimination, that reduces the number of eligible players for Player of the Year to four: Chien, aquamann, Ron B and W.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
Guys, I need your help.
You know that I don't like to overcrowd the roster with films that most likely will not be chosen by anyone, and I prefer to have exactly five released each week. Sometimes that is not possible, and sometimes films jockey around the lineup resulting in weekends where we have as many as eight or nine titles.
When Mario added all of the September and October films to the Master List, he included just about every single title that is now listed on BOM for those two months, which include a lot of titles that I did not include on the pricing schemes that I sent out to the panel recently.
However, if you feel that any of the following titles should and must be included, now is the time to throw your hat in.
Below is a list of the September and October films that were on the pricing scheme and are currently in the game, as well as the titles that are not yet part of the game. If three of you vote in the next 24 hours - I know that's not much time, but I need to get the next draft league started ASAP - for any one film, I will add it to the roster.
For those films that you do want to add, please add what you want the Ultimate and Box Office prices to be for those films.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
I think you've done well to have most of the important films in.
In terms of the ones that I think should be in it, as they do have a chance to affect the game, are The Guest and Tusk. Both $3 in Ultimate, $1 in BO

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
I back up what Six says about Tusk and The Guest, but I also tend to think that "The Two Faces of January" and "White bird in a Blizzard" will have an impact on the game.
I have an hesitation about "Zero Theorem". I would price them all at $3.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
I would include The Two faces of January, priced at $2 and the hero of color also, priced at $1. I think the $1 and $2 picks are pretty important and id like to see more of them, especially having a $1 pick in ultimate.

Re: THE OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY GAME THREAD
I'm with everyone on Tusk and The Guest, also Before I Go To Sleep should be in as it's expected to be a wide release.
Might want to consider Horns for 10/31 as well.
