So I didn't know if I would end up mentionning it at the corner of a thread, but I figure I might as well say it here because I wanted to share it with you guys.
It won't pay the bills since it's an association and I won't get paid for it, but I am now officially a programmer for the Paris Korean Film Festival. I get to choose, with two other programmers, which films will be presented at the festival next fall, and I will get to present some of them during the festival, and meet the directors and all. It should be über cool.
Behold, Thierry Frémaux, my next step is taking your job at the head of the Cannes Film Festival (which I totally deserve of course) !!!

I couldn't think of a better person for the job. There really can't be anyone else in France who loves Korean Films quite like our Chien.

(but there are some that care only about Korean cinema and know everything about it. I just love it and know a bit about it)

For the average American, the closest they will get to a Korean is someone like Sung Kang. Chien could find 10 Sung Kangs in one movie.

Who's Sung Kang?

The Asian guy from The Fast and the Furious movies (he's also the guy paired with Stallone in Bullet to the Head). He's Justin Lin's favorite actor to work with.

I only know Liu Kang and I thought the brain guy from Ninja Turtles, but that's Krang.
