Obamarama!

Post by numbersix »

Well, as we all know by now Obama has been re-elected. Despite the polls saying it would be damn close, it seems to be a significant victory.

So now you Yanks can look forward to socialised healthcare!

It was actually a very close race if you looked at the swing States that helped Obama win...very close in Florida, Virginia, and Ohio.

While it may have been close in the swing states, winning 303 to 206 was a lot more than experts had predicted.

I sure wish I lived in one of those 6 or 7 states where your vote isn't completely worthless.

I've voted for every President since I could (a whopping two until now) and I just couldn't get myself to vote for either one of these guys. Either way I felt like I'd be casting a vote for someone who'll leave the country in a worse shape than they got it. I'm not saying that the intentions for either are bad, just that the choices won't end well. I've felt this way ever since Romney won the primary.

Anyways, it'd take a catastrophic event to push something through congress with one part Blue and one part Red.
