I have gotten Invisible man for you guys for the next 48 hours via FandangoNow. You can redeem Disney points for a FandangoNow credit for any movie. The reward is $6 off, but is technically a free rental. They probably did not foresee this. I will PM Buscemi and Banks in a minute with my FNow details after I change to a Privacy card. I assume at least Busc has some points he can redeem for The Hunt, maybe Banks can do Emma. Sooner the better as they may close the loophole soon.

EDIT: Anyone else that wants in, PM me. I have enough points for all three, but can only redeem one per seven days and four total.

$6 off code is really a free rental code, not just $6 off. That was my point. For 650 DMI points you can rent the $20 rentals for $0. I paid nothing for Invisible Man besides the points.

My local arthouse is doing a promotion with Oscilloscope Laboratories where you can rent Saint Frances for $10 but you have to be a member to rent it. Too bad the film looked massively boring despite being promoted as a comedy.

Fandango has just announced they have bought Vudu. Looks like Fandango Now will be folded into Vudu (or vice versa).

I have a FandangoNow free rental coupon coming my way. Should I rent The Assistant, Blue Story, The Traitor, or The Way Back?

I’ve seen The Way Back and it’s not great. I wouldn’t trust a movie from a guy named only “Rapman” who’s IMDb photo is him in front of a Roc Nation logo. If his name were “directorman” maybe...

I’d like to know if The Assistant is decent. The lead is very good in Ozark. I have no frame of reference for The Traitor.

I had some reservations on Blue Story also, considering that it's based on a YouTube series but I read it was good.

The Assistant got great reviews and was supposed to play near me before all this COVID got in the air. The low IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes user scores seem to be men's rights people attacking it more than anything.

The Traitor was an Italian film that I saw a trailer for before a Fathom Events showing of The Godfather Part II. It looked good but once again, it never played near me. I also remember that James on Small Town Murder endorsed it and he and Jimmie don't accept many products to promote on their shows.

I ended up preordering King of Staten Island with a credit on Fandango Now. I can watch it 8/11. If anyone wants to see it I'll figure out a way to get it to you.

Not me. If I wanted to watch Illumination titles, I'd go to Netflix.

My brother has access to the account and he has an 8 year old kid. I'll ask and see if that's him doing that.
