Congratulations To Surfer and Arrow

Post by Buscemi »

After 9 months and 32 hours of labor, our Green Arrow delivered a 9 lb., 5 oz. baby girl with Silversurfer by her side.

So here come the late feedings and the hair pulling and the dirty diapers (and teargas, if necessary).

I'm sure Surfer is so ready to fill that girl's head with visions of Darth Vader and the smooth sounds of the Pixies

And telling her, "Yes, it's perfectly acceptable to read monthly comic books at 30". ;)

Congratulations to the both of you. The miracle of birth when you are personally involved is one of the most amazing experiences to ever go through. Good luck with the sleep deprivation.

And I thought Ted earning $50m this weekend would be the best news of today. Congrats, SS!

Thanks everyone, it's nice that our little collective is so interwoven that events outside the Fantaverse can still be appreciated on here. Probably won't be on here quite so much over the coming months, but I suppose it should be worth it..... Helena was amazing and she and the baby are doing fine, can't believe she was so BIG! I blame the mother's side of the family.

Now, popping back into the hospital, where are those Pixies CDs, Star Wars DVDs and Spider-Man comics...?

Great news. Hopefully you have one of those babies that let you sleep at least a little after the first couple of months. I definitely didn't.

So the big question is still left unanswered, after our many speculations... What's the name of the newborn marvel ? ;)

I'm going to guess Natasha Romanov Bland.

Almost boussh. Taking a tangent of the Romanov name we had ideas for both Roma and Roman. Eventually though, despite a real galactical desire to call the baby Lucas whether it was a boy or girl we went with an inspiration from a favourite author of ours, Harper Lee.

The next avenger's name is... Harper.
