my post is kind of pointless , but im just starting to learn PHP and mysql. I dont know how long it'll take for me to learn, but i once i know how to i will let you know.

Here's a quick effort I've just had a go at. I could spend more time with it, but let me know if this is something like what you're after or not:

Not bad but I don't think we can use any images from films due to copyright issues. That looks like Fight Club to me?

I actually like that Barca but minus the tag line. I think if you take out the tag line, the image speaks volumes. Can you do that?

Barca's reminds me too much of the Valkyrie poster. You know, that war movie that everyone pretended to like.

If we could maybe compact it a little more lengthwise, to get rid of some of the empty space around the words "ReelSociety". Either that, or maybe elongate the title slight so that it fills more of said space, but not enough so that the letters look abnormal.

I love the Silhouette logo. Any logo we use absolutely needs a reel of film in it. We don't want people confusing us for a fishing website.

i'd like to create a submission... probably won't get around to it until later this week--but i'd like if it could be considered.. as it stands now, Barca's got my vote (great design, even though it could use a bit o' polishing)

I agree the silhouette is the best one so far but it can definitely be improved upon like Patrick said.
