didn't wanna jump the gun on this--so i've kept this under-wraps for the last four-and-a-half years while I meticulously constructed the site from the ground up. Hope the time and work was worth it!!!

Is the guy's hair really supposed to look like Jesus's crown of thorns?

Yes. These animated allegories (as I call them) are full of religious imagery and literary allusions.

Re: http://www.nickspannaus.com
that's nice to hear. thanks. these are kinda "practice" for a bigger project i have in mind--so all feedback is appreciated...
i'll probably post new "episodes" on a regular basis--if anyone out there can stand more than a few, that is

I like it so far, NSpan, it feels kinda retro in a good way. My only suggestion is to speed the animations up a tad.
Re: http://www.nickspannaus.com
i'm torn, because i already got a request about slowing them down... i think the problem is with dialogue.... i'm gonna try and limit the number of words i can use per frame... that way, the animation will move along briskly and even slow-readers will be able to catch it all...
ps. got 5 shorts total as of now.. (woulda been 6, but i aborted one)... should i call em episodes (like videos) or issues (like comics)?

added a brief intro, and some other new stuff.... even a response board for the animated comic strips... join up, if y'ant...
thinkin' i can pump out 2-3 of these "episodes" a day for the time being... hopefully a few of them will be worth the time

Wow that's quite an output rate, NSpan. I might suggest deviding a few each day but only adding 1 on the site a day so that you can spread out your ideas across time, just in case you hit a creative dry patch.
Re: http://www.nickspannaus.com
good point, no6... it's just that i have two jobs right now that i do from home (SEO/back-end web design)--and i finally have a brief break, so i'm trying to take advantage of it.. but you're right in that regular output (even a smaller one) is better than flooding the market and then hitting a drought

Re: http://www.nickspannaus.com
bunch more up... i even unearthed some almost-aborted episodes... ( i suggest watching them all chronologically )
