So... I'm giving my Best Game of 2015 to Rocket League. For a short time it was between this an Fallout 4, but Fallout 4 has too many redundancies. Half of the missions are go here, kill these people, come back; and the people are the same people (general raiders). I got bored and never finished it. I will, probably when the new DLC is released.

But Rocket League. It's simple, soccer + cars + rockets. That's literally the game. The first time you play it you know what's going and, if you're at all familiar with driving games, you know basically what you're doing. By your tenth game you've figured out how to use your boost fairly effectively. By the hundredth game you start to figure out better how the ball is going to bounce when it hits the wall and, using your boost, how to get your car up to places you thought you couldn't to hit that aerial goal. It's completely different if you watch people that are great at the game on YouTube. Like the difference between a 50 year old rec league and the Dream Team. The learning curve is very steady and every once in a while something will click, like "How did I do that?" then you figure it out. It's a true e-sport in every sense of the word. A game lasts five minutes and then you'll want to play another and another. Whether it's on PC or PS4, everyone should play this game.

Don't think I played any games from 2015 (I still haven't played Alien Isolation - too afraid!), but Rocket League sounds like a load of fun.

I just about managed to get XCOM 2 working on my laptop. An improvement on the last games in every way. The game is more balanced, although some of those timed missions drive me nuts. But if you like turn-based games this is one of the best.

Anyone else preorder Uncharted? I've been waiting forever for this one. I grabbed the better version with the Steelbook and other stuff (not the statue one). I also have Battleborn sitting at home too. I haven't played it enough to say one way or the other, but it's got that Borderlands feel. I may trade it in tomorrow because Rocket League + Uncharted leave pretty much zero time for anything else and BBY has a 50% bonus right now, which means a couple dollars more than I paid for it.

So I'll probably put down Rocket League for a while. I don't know if you've heard, but Uncharted 4 came out yesterday... I could only put a couple of hours into it last night because the first update took forever. There has to be a better way to do this. Let people download updates ahead of time before they bought the game, like you're able to download the system updates. Then you pop the game in and there's a small update that's not 5-10 GB. Seriously.

Those two hours were pretty much the best two you can play in a video game. The storytelling is right on, like normal. I don't think there have been better graphics on a console ever. It's as immersive as any big budget film you're going to watch. I read an article that says they're Spielberg and all of the other action/adventure/shooter games are Michael Bay. They're dead on.

Rocket league sounds very cool. Might have to check it out.

Also, ill add u NSpan on Ps4, my ID is Psychosocks

Been playing a game similar to heartstone, called Tyrant Unleashed. Very addictive and one of those trap games for money, managed to stay mostly free to play, but I got caught in the end.

When I went to the used store to grab the digital copies yesterday they had a copy of the original Final Fantasy complete in box for the NES. Haven't been able to pop it in yet, but I'm very happy with the find.

I bet that wasn't cheap. Supposedly, it's worth $75 in the box ($300 if complete).

I only paid $30. It looks like it goes for between $60-100. Really good ones can get up to $150, but this box is a little beat up. I just saw two sealed that went for about $320.

Went to pick up the digital copy sheets today and the store had a few rare SNES games. I picked up Breath of Fire II, Chrono Trigger, and Demon's Crest. They always price them a decent amount under the lowest ebay pricing, so I'm able to play it and come out ahead. I also picked up Tony Hawk #1 for the N64 and TMNT: The Arcade Game for NES, but those are easy to find (and cheap).

These digital copies are getting expensive :)
