Hell yes! Ewa Zwonarz, you are going DOWN!

I'm down by 203 votes with just over 2 weeks to go. Joshua's Army needs to pick up some steam.

All right, screw BookBzz. I'm up for another award, and this one ISN'T a fucking popularity contest.

I'm entered in several other contests. Hopefully I can make out better in those as well.

Thanks, Chien. Truly.

Have you had a chance to read it yet? You were my first international customer!

Unfortunately I have not. I still have the manuscript from a friend of mine to finish reading before I'll jump into yours. I'll probably start yours in a couple of weeks. i'll let you know of course.

Guys, help a brutha out. Buy the book, write reviews on every site you can, give it a good rating, and share a link with your friends on FB or twitter. It's the Shrykester, after all!

Thanks, Spanny. Yes, anyone who could do that, I would be very grateful.

I was going to only have it at $1.99 on Amazon ebook for the month of February, but I may make that the permanent price for now.

Just finished Day One of the Tucson Festival of Books. I'm fucking exhausted. On my feet all day after a two-hour drive.

Sold five copies of Joshua's Island. Yay!

And tomorrow, I get to do it all over again, drive home, and go to work on Monday.

Oh, the life of a writer...

Just got home. A great weekend. Still exhausted (and sunburned), but I sold 16 of the 18 copies I brought with me.

Met some great kids, some great parents, and made a lot of contacts. A total victory.

Question for all of you... I know we're all "movie" people here, and I don't know who among you reads books, enjoys books, or likes to talk about books. But I'd like to find out.

Since publishing my book, I have read several dozen books by some fantastic authors - who are also really fantastic people. I have a handful of books that are so goddamn awesome that I don't think they should be kept in obscurity along with the millions of other books on Amazon.

I would like to start a thread (separate from this one) where we can talk about books we're reading, enjoying and loving... or maybe even books we've enjoyed recently, or even decades ago. We can throw it open to any age, genre, or taste.

What do you guys think?
