The Spurs were beaten by the Mavs in five last year. The Spurs are slightly better while the Mavs have upgraded majorly in depth and at center. The Mavs have won three of four from the Spurs this year. So, in the past calendar year the Mavs are 8-2 against the Spurs. They haven't lost at home against the Spurs since 2008... So, we'll see.

I wonder if Patrick Ewing can take three more games from the Suns, though Brandon Roy probably isn't old enough to be considered for that title.

It's 3-1 Spurs... they could put them away sooner than I thought! I believe I had that one, barring a huge comeback. I told you they would handle those chokers from Dallas!

I'll be at the Celtics game Tuesday to watch them (hopefully) put the Heat away.

I'm so disappointed in my Lakers....they let Durant tie up the series.

And damn those boring Spurs somehow beating the Mavs.

David Stern probably wanted Dallas to win. The league loses revenue when San Antonio wins.

COME ON BUCKS AND MAGIC!!

You guys want coincidence? When I was about 4-ish I had some NBA cards, one was of a guy from Orlando (who were my favorite team then because I liked the name "Magic", I still support them ofcourse because I have manlove feelings for SuperDwight) and that was my favorite card. Unfortunately when I moved overseas I lost it, and couldn't remember who the player was. Then last year, I was doing some reading on Bogut and the Bucks (cause he's Aussie) and I go into the coaches background, and I Google him, and to my amazement the very same card I had pops up in Google pictures. Since then i've had a massive soft spot for the Bucks.

Would the card be of Scott Skiles by any chance? He still holds the NBA record for most assists in a game (30).

Wow. Blazers start Game 5 8-8 from the field and have a 14-point lead 6 minutes in. At halftime, Suns by 10.

If I'm a little late posting tonight's songs, you'll know why.

Buscemi, let me just say.... best avatar yet.

Obviously it is. He is the current Bucks coach after-all.

For Aussies, there's also David Andersen who's a 30 year old NBA rookie for the Rockets and Nathan Jawai for the Timberwolves, who has a chance to be a decent center (though probably won't).

I'm compiling a list of some of the worst NBA draft picks of all-time. Boy, some of these were bad.

I've read that list. I didn't think it went far enough.

I don't either. Sam Bowie at #1, to me, is kind of a cop out. He was limited by injury, but still put up pretty decent stats (10 PPG/8.6 REB/2.8 AST/2.7 Blocks his rookie year). There's really no comparison with a Kwame Brown (could have gotten Gasol) or Tskitishvilli/Dajuan Wagner (could have gotten Amare) or Darko (Bosh, Wade, Melo)... Five guys went before Bird (the player of the year in college that year... when it actually meant something).

I think the worst pick you can make isn't what you could have gotten, but not getting anything at all out of the pick.
