The NBA Draft order:

1. Cleveland
2. Milwaukee
3. Philadelphia
4. Orlando
5. Utah
6. Boston
7. Lakers
8. Sacramento
9. Charlotte (via Detroit)
10. New Orleans
11. Denver
12. New York
13. Minnesota
14. Phoenix

Notes:
- Cleveland had a 1.7% chance of getting the pick.
- This will be the third time in four years Cleveland has had the top pick.
- Looks like the lottery still frowns down on teams that tanked their way to better odds (as seen by Philadelphia getting the third pick).

I've heard experts say there could be six or seven franchise-changing talents in this year's draft. By tanking and having the second worst record they assured themselves a top 5 pick (three teams max could jump them). As it stands, they get Emblid, Wiggins, or Parker to go with MCW and Noel to build their future. They're sitting pretty good.

I'm not really liking Carter-Williams in the near future. He might have had a decent first year but he takes too many shots and Bill Simmons compared his career so far to Antoine Walker (and we all know what happened to him). He could very much suffer the sophomore jinx if Simmons is right.

There's no comparison between a point guard and a forward... It's seriously hard to compare him to anyone considering his size for the position, but Brandon Jennings... possibly Tyreke Evans maybe Jason Kidd as a rookie is a little closer than Walker. Guys that had free range their rookie year to take whatever shots they want on awful teams and put up numbers, but not good percentages.

And Antoine Walker was a three time all star. If that's what you get out of an 11th pick, you didn't do too bad.

But Walker played in a big market, which gave him those All-Star appearances. Anyway, Walker was a liability on offense as he took way too many shots he couldn't make (look at his career 3-point stats, for they are quite ugly). Simmons attributed this on the coaching in his rookie year that basically allowed him to shoot freely and often. The same thing is happening with Carter-Williams and I don't think he'll be able to shake it off.

I hard on my local sports talk radio station that Kevin Love wants out of Minnesota, now. Phoenix is probably one of a few teams (Golden State is another) with enough draft picks and leverage to make a play for him. I just wonder if he would fit into the Suns' high-octane playing style.

And France beats Honduras 3-0, and despite all the attempts of the Honduras players to break the french players in two, all of the frenchies finished the match without an injury. That's a miracle.

Yeah, they did the same to the English team in a friendly last week. Apparently if you are not good enough at the game, just hacking away at each player seems to be the method to success.

Anyway, England, as expected are not going to win this World Cup. At least the media have finally calmed down and lowered expectations this time round. Getting out of our group would be fantastic, and it's nice to see a youthful England team willing to play exciting football, even if they aren't quite good enough yet.

The Dutch look the most impressive so far, and while there was hardly a vintage performance from the likes of Brazil, Argentina, Italy and France, I would expect that along with the Germans, the winners should come from this pack. No mention, you see of Spain, whose high defensive line it seems has finally been exposed, and I think most teams will have caught on this during their thrashing by The Netherlands, and so I can't see a win. But who knows, still a long way to go.

It's certain that beating Spain the way they did put the Dutch on the map for the win, even more considering it was Spain while the other "favourites" have won against teams they were supposed to win, except maybe Italy/England, where either could have won I guess. Brazil could have lost against Croatia, and it was close between Argentina and Bosnia last night.
And everyone knows in France that 3-0 is great, but it was just Honduras. We'll see how we fare against Switzerland next.

Wow, France managed to win a game without committing a handball? Or are they in cahoots with Brazil and just paying off the officials? ;)

Yeah France has finally chosen to only have players on the pitch not willing to be a goalkeeper except the goalkeeper himself. We discovered we play better that way anyway ;)

France 5. Switzerland 2. What a game. Should have been 6 had the ref counted the last one when he whistled right when the ball left Benzema's foot.

Vive la France!

How do you figure their chances are against Ecuador, Chien?

And here's hoping that the US can perform better against Portugal than they did against Ghana (which they won, but played poorly).
