Maria Mena - Bye Bye

George Harrison - Piggies
Opeth - Requiem

Wow that was all over.

Off topic but heard a new band recently named Volbeat. Anybody who likes metal should check them out. New CD called Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood is bad ass. They are good enough to be opening for Metallica this tour.

Modern Lovers--nice! very under-recognized band.. in a way, the very first punk band.. Jonathan Richman just came through town, btw..

(not to mention fellow Austinite, Daniel Johnston.. cool to see him on the list)

Yeah, I saw the Johnston doc recently, after getting a few CD's. It was good. It was funny because now that I'm more familiar with him, I noticed all the Daniel Johston drawings and such in Whip It, which was set in Austin.
