why would it blow your mind if they do a cover? i guess i dont understand it. The song wasn't bad, had an interesting charm to it.
The fact of it being a cover isn't what blows my mind. The fact that VELVET UNDERGROUND would cover STEELY DAN just sounds odd to me. It's like hearing that your favorite Nirvana song is actually a cover of Devo. Would that not be weird?
My favorite Nirvana song is a cover of Meat Puppets. Not quite the same but still....

To be fair my other fave Nirvana songs are theirs, (I think) Dive and Heart Shaped Box

But the Meat Puppets made perfect sense for Nirvana to cover. I'm talkin' out-of-left-field here.

Yep, I still don't like country.
Why does everyone seem to think this is a country instumental? Maybe it's because the artists are Southern?

That was pretty much the most awesome list ever, why don't you make picks like that for your list???
At least we can abort fetuses. Bad grammar and language last a lifetime.

Why I oughta!!

To be honest though, my list has contained many songs from the bands listed above, such as Smashing Pumpkins, U2, REM, The Smiths, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Joy Division, Led Zep and Dylan. They are just spread out, as well as being songs nobody likes...
